NSKTU Distance Education: University Status and Degree Validity
NSKTU CDOE is affiliated to a Central University as per Act of Parliament. Previously the university was called Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha. The university is accredited by UGC-DEB, has been given A+ NAAC and is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

3 Essential Facts About NSKTU Distance PG Eligibility
- A Shastri degree is not mandatory: One who has passed out with a recognized three-year bachelor’s degree can also apply for Acharya/M.A., as long as the Sanskrit subject requirement is fulfilled.
- Sanskrit background is important: In general, for Acharya/M.A., it is expected that applicants have studied Sanskrit at undergraduate level, having secured at least 200 marks or an accepted classical equivalent.
